Communications Intern

ACLU of Arizona

June 2025 - September 2025

At the ACLU of Arizona, I support the communications team in developing digital content and strategic messaging that champions civil liberties. I am building a comprehensive online resource hub to provide nonpartisan, accessible information on LGBTQ+ rights in Arizona. In addition, I am working on the rollout of a major organizational video campaign by writing a supporting blog post, targeted emails, and social media copy. My work helps amplify the ACLU’s mission across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, Bluesky, TikTok, and Threads.

Note: this internship is in progress, so updates to this page will be made as more projects are published.

“When the Pima County Sheriff’s Department was caught violating their own policy on tracking requests for assistance from ICE or Border Patrol, they got rid of it rather than taking accountability.

This was done without public knowledge, without transparency, and raises serious concerns for the safety of immigrant communities.
